Route description

3 lakes, mountain forest and a summit panorama – all that and much more awaits you on this charming loop trail! Enjoy extensive panoramic views of the Brixen Valley and the icy peaks of the Hohe Tauern on this walk. A highlight of the hike is the Hohe Salve with the first revolving panoramic terrace boasting a 360° view of over 70 three thousand-metre-high peaks.

Possible route combinations

  • Return on the Hohe Salve cable car to the Hexenwasser mountain theme park on the Hohe Salve, Söll. From there, you take the Riesenweg path back to the RiesenWelt in Brixen im Thale.
