TOUR 1 Filzalmsee loop trail
Starting point: Brixen im Thale cable car
Route description
Experience the RiesenWelt, starting at the idyllic lake Filzalmsee at 1,300 metres above sea level, situated right near the top station of the Hochbrixen cable car. In addition to the lake, you can experience a biotope with interesting peep boxes and nature discovery stations that reveal the secrets of the underwater world! There is also a centuries-old farmhouse equipped with modern conference facilities and space for seminars or training courses in the heart of Hochbrixen's mountain world.
Possible route combinations
- From the Filzalmsee lake, walk on towards the Silleralm and back to Hochbrixen
- Or continue to the 'Hexenwasser' mountain theme park on the Hohe Salve in Söll – Austria's longest barefoot path with 60 points of interest.
- From the Filzalmsee lake, head towards the Filzalm to the Jordan Chapel, then on to the Hohe Salve at 1,829 metres via the Salvensee lake.
