In Going, traditions are still very much alive and the proximity of the Wilder Kaiser is reflected in this climbing area, steeped in history. The village square with its Baroque church and spectacular panoramic views of the Kaiser mountain range is one of the most beautiful in Tyrol. For this reason, the TV series ‘Der Bergdoktor’ (the mountain doctor) is filmed here and the area also forms the backdrop to the crafts market in summer. The surrounding nature is particularly relaxing in winter when visitors can enjoy snow shoe walks under a full moon, idyllic winter hikes and natural toboggan runs.
