Route description

Beautiful mountain lakes, themed trails and a summit panorama – experience it all on this highly varied hike. Starting at the Hopfgarten middle lift station, walk to the Hohe Salve reservoir, the Salvensee lake and then on to the Filzalmsee lake, part of RiesenWelt Brixen im Thale. From here you continue to the mountain theme park, Hexenwasser Söll Hohe Salve – Austria's longest barefoot path with 60 stations. Finally head back to Hopfgarten taking the 3 cable cars.

Possible route combinations

  • Hike from the Filzalmsee lake in Hochbrixen to the KaiserWelt mountain theme park in Scheffau via the Brantlalm lake and Jochstubnsee lake.
