Route description

Hike to the Brandstadl summit cross with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. Continue to the KaiserWald forest. Then enjoy a relaxed barbecue with the group at the Brandstadl barbecue area (wood and coal available at the top lift station).

Possible route combinations

  • Themed trails, such as the Marmot, Aualm and Eiberg loops, can be easily incorporated into this hike.
  • Pass the Jochstubnsee lake and you can also walk on to the RiesenWelt Brixen im Thale.
  • Or take the trail towards Ellmau and head to the mountain theme park, Ellmi‘s Zauberwelt.
