The sunny plateau!
The lords of Itter Castle have always enjoyed a marvellous view over the Inn Valley, the Wilder Kaiser mountain range and the Kitzbühel Alps. So do our guests when coming to this small, lovely village situated on a sunny plateau. The “Rose Village”, as Itter is being called for several years now, provides direct and easy access into the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. The practice slopes in the valley are particularly popular with children and beginners. An illuminated toboggan run, an extended cross-country-ski trail net, cleared winter hiking paths, and guided snow-shoeing tours make your winter holiday so special even off the slopes.
